Description
This is a fee campground. Fee envelopes and a collection box are provided near the entrance. This campground is operated by a concessionaire from the third week in May through the first week in September. A campground host is located in unit No. 7. The host is available from mid-May through Labor Day weekend. This area is accessible for a season that varies usually between April 20 and October 20 due to snow levels.
Antelope Campground lies in a forested basin next to Sagehen Reservoir. The area is wooded mountain terrain popular for fishing, hunting, and gathering mushrooms and berries.
The campground was reconstructed in 2000. Units have paved parking and can accommodate small to medium size RVs. All units have tables, grills and fire pits. Drinking water is supplied from (3) wells with hand pumps. Vault toilets are located throughout the campground. The campground has a boat dock and launch ramp. The site includes parking for cars and boat trailers.
