The Lazy R Ranch is a Private Ranch that, together with it’s leases comprises nearly 15,000 acres. Ranch headquarters are located in the beautiful, high mountain meadows of the Drybuck Valley. We have recently opened our doors to the public in order to provide real ranch experiences to those who would otherwise be unable to have such experiences. Our location off Hwy 55 between Boise and McCall puts us right on your recreational corridor.
We are equipped to handle large groups of peLazy R Ranch - Drybuck Valley, Idahoople. Full service Men’s/Women’s restrooms, complete with showers, are available for use. The main Ranch house has just been renovated, and is now available for use. It is capable of lodging up to 15 people and comes complete with kitchen and appliances. Another smaller cabin will soon be available. Additional Restrooms and Showers are available for those bringing Tents or other Camping Gear.
Our amazing lineup of American Quarter Horses have become an important part of our outdoor adventure offering. They add an unforgettable western feel to any family vacation, genuine horseback experience for the average Horseman, a first time thrill for children, an adventurous undertaking for Scout and Youth Groups, and a partnering experience for Troubled Youth.
