The famous Grand Targhee Ski Resort, also located nearby in the Targhee National Forest, offers 63 trails covering over 3000 acres of alpine skiing, night skiing, heli-skiing, snow-cat skiing, cross country skiing, snow tubing and snow boarding. Grand Targhee is famous for their powdery natural "snow from heaven".
