Description

The Forest administers portions of the headwaters of the Potlatch River drainage. Private lands are intermingled with the USFS lands, especially as one proceeds downstream. The Potlatch River drainage provides anglers with relatively easy access to most streams due to the road network. Anglers can fish for naturally-reproducing fish (primarily brook trout) as well as fish stocked by the Idaho Department of Fish and Game.
