A number of guest ranches are allowed to operate within the boundaries of the Frank Church River of No Return Wilderness Area. Accessible by powerboat, private airplane, or pack mule, these isolated ranches range from traditional Western outposts to more elaborate mini-resorts.

More traditional lodging can be found in the surrounding towns of McCall, Grangeville, Salmon, and Challis, all a 30 minute to two hour drive from the boundary of the wilderness area.
