Description

Logan Canyon is yet another epic climbing destination found in northern Utah. The routes and problems found here are enough to last a serious climber months and months. Solid limestone canyon walls with grand views of the lightly wooded surrounds make this a beautiful yet un-crowded place to climb.

The majority of the routes in the canyon are sport but there are also some great trad routes to be found. The climbs cross the full gambit from 5.5 to 5.14 and from pumpy overhangs to big jugs and pockets. The bouldering is especially good in this canyon with many caves alluring climbers from all over northern Utah to come and test their specific gravity.

Logan Canyon is also close to Beaver Mountain ski area and Bear Lake. Both are gorgeous and popular summer recreation areas with hiking, biking, fishing, and even sailing opportunities.
