There are lots of campgrounds along Forest Road 698; Tie Creek (7 units), Hardscrabble (6 units), Rattlesnake (6 units), Trail Creek (11 units) and Boiling Springs (7 units) offer tent and trailer camping. The Forest Service Boiling Springs Guard Station

Basic Directions

Take the Banks-Lowman Highway east from Banks, turn north on Forest Road 698. The Middle Fork Payette River trailhead is located near Boiling Springs campground. The best fishing is near Boiling Springs.
