Riordan Lake is 74 acres, and is at 6522' elevation. Please note that threatened bull trout inhabit these waters and must be released unharmed immediately if caught. Please read the Bull Trout Alert.

 Directions

Riordan Lake is in the Johnson Creek watershed. Go east from Cascade on Forest Service Hwy. 22, over Warm Lake summit, and turn north on the Johnson Creek Road, Forest Service Road 413. Take Road 413 past Ice Hole Campground and turn east onto a 4WD road, 416. You'll be able to go only about 1.25 miles on this road before parking. The Riordan Creek trailhead is at Hennessy Meadow, another .75 mile on 416. From the trailhead it's about 3 miles to Riordan Lake. The trail is open to motorcycles, bicycles, and horses.
