Sawtooth National Recreation Area - Skiing / Snowboarding

While there are no developed ski resorts within the Sawtooth National Recreation Area, there are miles of terrain open to backcountry skiing or heliskiing. The well-regarded Sun Valley ski resort is just a few miles south of the area, near Ketchum, and several other area ski resorts are within a drive of a few hours.
