Description

Good River Bed & Breakfast is located in Gustavus, Alaska - gateway to Glacier Bay National Park. The B&B is a spacious three-story log house of Sitka spruce with classic dovetail corners, maple hardwood floor, wood beams, hand-made tiles and many hand-crafted touches to delight you. Original paintings by Alaskan artists grace the walls, and hand-made patchwork quilts are on every bed. Four guest bedrooms share two full bathrooms, with shower and claw foot bathtub. Guests can relax and browse through the library, write letters in the comfortable sitting room, stroll in the garden, look at the root cellar, play the harpsichord, indulge in a game of badminton, or take one of the free bikes and explore.

Good River B&B offers a perfect home base for your visit to Glacier Bay and Gustavus. The log house is warm and inviting, the beds comfortable, the food healthy and delicious, and custom packages are arranged for each guest. Breakfast is made from scratch using the purest ingredients - muffins, breads, delicious scones - served with local berry jams, homemade granola, fresh fruit and fresh ground coffee. Enjoy breakfast at whatever time fits your plan for the day. The breakfast nook has large picture windows. We sometime catch site of moose feeding on willows in the meadow.
