Several dispersed camp sites are available next to Granite Creek. This trail leads to Granite Peak and intersects with Trail #137. Fantastic views of the upper Prichard Creek drainage, Revette Lake and Tiger Peak can be seen from the upper reaches of this trail.

Open to foot traffic only This trail is an easy hike which follows along the lakeshore and passes in front of several summer homes. Hiker will follow Bear Creek up a gentle, sloping climb through meadows and patches of aspen and fir to the divide. Scattered springs will increase the chances of spotting the occasional elk and deer and if the hiker will watch very closely, there may be an occasional coyote.

Visitors will follow Bear Creek through sagebrush and scattered fir for approximately one mile after which they will enter high mountain meadows until they reach the top. 1.2 mile spur trail to the upper lakes at 4.2 miles (trail ties into McKim Creek Trail on the Salmon-Cobalt Ranger District)

The lower section of this trail follows Bear Creek about two miles then enters scattered meadows with patches of fir and aspen. Coyotes, elk and deer are known to inhabit this area.
