Our Best Western is ideally situated-nestled in the heart of leatherstocking country and central New York State. We are located just a few minutes from the village of Cooperstown where you will find quaint shops, fine dining and of course the National Baseball Hall of Fame. Even though Cooperstown is probably best known as being the home of americas favorite pastime -Baseball- it is also a place filled with culture, heritage and natural beauty. Come experience world-class Opera, National Art Exhibits and hands-on history Museums. Hunt for antiques and crafts on rural roads. Discover a timeless place in the rolling foothills of the northern Catskills, the land of James Fenimore Coopers leatherstocking tales. We offer a wide range of room types to suit the needs of our travelers. There are 62 rooms in The Inn and 36 seasonal suites in The Lodge that have a refrigerator and microwave-very convenient for those guests that will be with us for a while. Whether you are here on business or vacation, amenities such as our indoor pool and spa, fitness room, picnic pavilion and game room will make your stay even more enjoyable. Direction to the Property from East - From points east/south - New York State thruway to Exit 25A, take Interstate 88 west to Exit 17 at Oneonta. Then follow Route 28 north to Cooperstown and the Best Western-13 miles or take the scenic route--New York State thruway Exit 19 at Kingston. Then Route 28 West to Cooperstown. Direction to the Property from North - From points North - New York State thruway to Exit 30 at Herkimer then Route 28 South through Cooperstown to Best Western-28 miles. Direction to the Property from South - New York State thruway to Exit 25A, take Interstate 88 West to Exit 17 at Oneonta. Then follow Route 28 North to Cooperstown and the Best Western-13 miles or take the scenic route--New York State thruway Exit 19 at Kingston. Then Route 28 West to Cooperstown.
