Description

Located in an exquisite resort area the Best Western Smokey Mountain Inn is the place to stay in any season. We offer a panoramic view, services and location that will make you want to extend your stay. Our beautifully appointed guest rooms have a microwave, refrigerator, coffee maker, hair blower and much more. After a long day on the road, you would not want to miss the opportunity to expend some energy on our walking trail, swim in our outdoor pool or just relax around our pool and look at the mountains. A deluxe continental breakfast is on us. Do not pass us by on your next trip to Waynesville or anywhere in western North Carolina. No matter when you visit our mountains, there is always something happening. Springtime brings the budding out of trees, the blooming of dogwood, rhodadendrum, mountain laurel and many wildflowers. The color rivals that of fall. Spring also brings the Ramp Festival, a native wild onion and the Great Smoky Mountain Trout Festival. Summer rushes in with weekends of Pickin in the Park, street dances in front of the courthouse. Folkmoot USA plus much more. Around the corner trees are starting to change from green to gold, red, orange, rust, burgundy and every color in between. Before you realize it the mountainside is ablaze with color. A photographers paradise. Enjoy the many mountain crafts for sale at the Church Street Arts and Craft Show and the Apple Harvest Festival. Winter creeps in and the ski area opens. As you can imagine, so many things to see and do and not enough time for everything with one visit. We are centrally located to all major attractions, such as Biltmore Estate, Great Smoky Mountains National Park, Harrah s Casino, the scenic Blue Ridge Parkway and the Great Smoky Mountain Railway, to name a few. Enjoy a day of shopping in downtown Waynesville, golf, sightseeing, whitewater rafting or area amusements in nearby Cherokee and Maggie Valley.
