Description

Guests will experience hospitality at its finest at this grand, newly restored Victorian in the heart of the historic district. Designed by local architect J. Benjamin Brown and built in 1894 with timbers cut from the Davis farm. The Mill Street Inn opened for guests in July 2006. The innkeepers invite you to savor, with them, a moment from the past in their beautiful Queen Anne home.

There are three elegant en suite rooms:
The beautiful Cambridge Suite w/poster bed, turreted sitting room and air jet tub.
The Edward guestroom is decorated in hues of blue, the featuring a queen-size cherry sleigh bed, fireplace, and luxurious bath with a walk in shower and the original claw foot tub.
The Winifred guest room is lavishly furnished in yellow floral, this large sunny room features a queen-size four poster bed, an antique armoire dating from the 1850's, and a comfy sitting area. It has a walk-in shower and a Carrara marble vanity.

Your guest room awaits you with fresh flowers, fine linens, fluffy towels, and specially milled soaps. Each has cable TV with a DVD player, an am/fm clock radio, and a hair dryer. We have Wi Fi for the guest who may need to conduct business while in Cambridge. The inn is centrally air conditioned.

All breakfasts begin with juice and fresh fruit in season followed by a hot entrée. A few among those are Eggs Florentine with Smoked Alaskan Salmon, accompanied by Grits Souffle; Crème Brulee French Toast with Brandied Peach Sauce; Lemon Ricotta Pancakes with Fresh Berries in Season, and Country Link Sausages; or Eggs a la Jefferson with Apple Wood Smoked Bacon, Grits Souffle, and Maryland Country Biscuits. For the early riser, coffee and tea are available by 7 o''clock. So are Jen''s famous cinnamon rolls.
