Description
This trail criss-crosses the head of North Fork Creek through meadows and clusters of alpine fir until finally reaching the beautiful North Fork Lake. Although numerous studies have been conducted, no one knows why fish do not survive in this lake. Many attempts have been made to stock the lake, but have never succeeded. Hiker will want to have plenty of film in their cameras to capture the beauty of wildflowers by the lake and the chance of seeing deer, elk and mountain goats in the rocks.
