Description
Trail climbs up a grassy sagebrush draw and drops over a saddle to fir trees. It then travels up more sagebrush through a draw and past an old horse watering trough. Next are more saddles to negotiate through sagebrush and scattered fir. The rolling terrain leads past a duck pond then on to aspen and fir trees to the north. There is an open grassy ridge on the top where it swings to the north to clumped fir. The fence and gate lead to Long Lost. Of interest to rock hounds- Agate is known to be on this trail. Elk, deer, blue grouse, various hawks. eagles and ducks are known to be in the area as well.
