Trail leads up the ridge through scattered fir and aspen and wanders about one mile through an old timber sale area. The trail gradually becomes more rocky with just occasional scattered fir until the junction of Snow bank Trail. If the visitor will look to the south, he will be delighted to see a panorama of the Little Lost Valley. Listen carefully - there may be hoot owl or two.
