Description
Trail climbs to a rocky, sage brush bench then winds through granite boulders and very scattered fir trees for the first three miles. It passes Clear Lake where the angler can try for that cutthroat trout, then through meadows and ridges of granite and rock another three miles to Betty Lake which is known to be good fishing lake, also with cutthroat trout. Inhabitants of the area include elk, deer, blue grouse, pine grouse and mountain goats.
