Description
Several creek crossing through willows and sage brush lead up the trail to scattered fir, more sage and rock and on to the east side of Herd Creek. The colorful rock formation are brilliant with varied shades of red. Of interest to rock hounds is the agate often found. Elk, deer and coyotes are known to inhabit the area.
